In stock and shipped the next working day. Thirty days to change your mind.
Before you ask what the catch is
We would rather you knew before you ordered than after. It is also why almost nothing comes back.
What the price buys
Jacket and trousers — and the waistcoat, on a three piece. Not a jacket with the trousers sold separately.
Forest green, burgundy, rose, ivory. Most shops cannot afford to be wrong about them. We hold them anyway.
It ships the next working day, not in four weeks. Thirty sizes, held here rather than cut to order.
Return shipping included. No restocking fee, and no questions about why.
What it does not
This is off the rack. Nobody takes twenty-eight measurements at this price, and anyone who says they do is selling you something else.
No pad stitching done by a person over three days. The construction is machine work, and it is honest machine work.
No suit at any price does that. The trousers arrive unhemmed on purpose, because your tailor needs the length.
$40
It will then read as a suit that cost several times more — which is the whole trick, and the reason we would rather sell you the cloth than a story about it.
Four shapes. Everything else is cloth and colour.

We buy in volume, hold the stock ourselves and sell direct. No showroom, no concession, no name on the label anyone is paying extra for. That is the whole of why the price reads the way it does, and we would rather say it plainly than invent a story about it.
