Privacy
We collect what an order needs and nothing we cannot justify.
What we collect
- Your name, email, shipping address and phone number, so an order can be made and delivered.
- Your order history, so we can answer questions about it.
- Your email address alone, if you subscribe to the house letter.
- A cookie holding an anonymous basket identifier, so your basket survives a page reload. It contains no personal detail.
What we never see
Your card number. Payment is taken on Stripe's own pages; the card details never reach this website or any system we control. We receive a confirmation that a payment succeeded, the last four digits, and nothing more.
Who it is shared with
- Stripe, to take payment.
- The carrier, to deliver the parcel.
- Nobody else. We do not sell data, and we do not share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for seven years, because tax law requires it. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe, which is one click at the bottom of every letter.
You can ask for a copy of everything we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by writing to clients@vittorioblanc.com. We answer within thirty days. Deleting an order record is limited by the retention above.
